Sunrise: I must get up to see this more often!

I got up very early this morning to say goodbye to my bestie who has been visiting from Australia.

As she left I noticed the beautiful sunrise and dawn breaking over the hills here in Normandy so I thought I’d share my photos as today’s post.

Sunrise France 1

The sun rises over the hill behind the house so I was able to catch the orange glow coming through the trees and hedgerows.

France sunrise 2

Looking downhill, the countryside is bathed in a lovely glow and the dog decided to join me.

Sunrise France 3

I’ve taken hundreds of photos of the little church and this morning the granite stone walls looked almost pink.

I might have to get up to see a few more sunrises now. Perhaps there’s better ones to see while I’m here!

Lovely photos. Maybe I’ll make the sunrise as it moves away from 4.30 am! 🙂
