Hello from Dubai.

Last week I embarked on my first overseas trade show here in the United Arab Emirates.

It was a very interesting experience meeting buyers from the Middle East, a lot of whom loved our bright colours in all our leather products. There were many corporate gift buyers amongst the visitors so watch this space. Hopefully some nice bright leather products will be winging their way into some groovy companies, instead of the usual brown, black and navy corporate folders.

We had particular interest in our travel wallets and luggage tags. Inexpensive but very useful gifts for the business traveller. If we brand the luggage tag with the logo of a large corporate company, imagine how may people could see that logo!

Your Opinion.

Have you ever been given a corporate gift? If so, did you keep it? I have been to a few events organised by a large company and the gifts have included a pearl necklace, which I gave away as I don’t wear pearls… and a cool bag, which I use regularly. The company may have thought the cool bag was quite a basic choice of gift but it is so useful that I now carry that companies logo around with me whenever I use it! Obviously there was no corporate logo on the necklace.

If you have a company and want to give a gift, why not think about a bespoke product carrying your company logo?
