A New Design

When I sketch a new design I generally sketch a front view, back view, side view etc… basically I sketch the bag from all angles. I then add measurements and notes about special details that I want.

The sketch goes to the factory by email with further instructions including what type of leather to use, what colour, the kind of zips and lining I want and the stitch size and colour.

Generally it takes about 2 to 3 weeks to get my sample finished and sent to me to approve or modify. It’s very exciting to receive a sample parcel and see how accurately my ideas were interpreted (normally perfectly).
