Handbag Review: Mini Hobo

Mini hobo Martine editThe second handbag review of 6, comes from Martine who lives in the UK.

Here are my questions with Martine’s answers. She also kindly sent me a photo of her new bag with a new dress she’s going to team it with when summer comes!

The Mini Hobo

Q 1. What was your 1st impression of the bag you chose?

Martine: I liked the look of the bag initially because I like the hobo shape, and I really loved the purple colour. I also felt a small bag would be great to pack in a case to use when on holiday.

Q 2. Was the colour and size as expected?

Martine: The colour was exactly as pictured and it is a beautiful rich purple, complemented by the blue inside. I’m pretty hopeless on picturing sizes in my mind  from measurements, so the bag was probably slighter smaller than I had imagined, but I think it’s an ideal size.

Q 3. The price of your bag (in UK including VAT) is £45 how do you think it measures up to value for money?

Martine: I love the quality and soft feel of the leather and the popper closure is very secure; for those reasons, I think the price is fair.

Q 4. How many times have you used it so far?

Martine: The bag has been with me over the last week, and has been out everyday!  Although small, it manages to take my telescopic umbrella, wallet, brush, make-up purse and mirror. It is very versatile due to its size. It fits in my yoga bag so I can then take it out for coffee afterwards; it is also a brilliant size for the evening as it still looks good regardless of how full it is. Equally, it is very easy to find everything.

Q 5. Has anyone commented on your new bag? What did they say?

Martine: I received the bag on Wednesday morning and took it out for lunch with the girls. They were unanimous in their praise for the colour (in fact the waitress also commented on it) and the useful purse, which housed my collection of keys. Whilst out clothes shopping, in a changing room on Monday, a stranger said – Like your bag!

Thank you Martine 🙂 The answers to the questions are Martine’s own words as emailed to me. This is her bag.

Thanks too for the photo (love the dress!)
