Occasionally I spot one of my designs somewhere in the world and I wonder how it got there. It doesn’t happen very often these days (not as often as when I worked for Next. I used to see my designs everywhere then. In the UK that is!)

So when this one was spotted in the desert in Namibia, I was ever so grateful to the traveller who recognised it as my design and took this photo to send to me.

They were all on an excursion into the desert from a Cunard voyage, sailing from Southampton to South Africa, a few years ago. Even then, this design wasn’t one from my latest collection, it must have been 7 or 8 years old –  and still looking great.

This tote bag was from my ‘Morocco’ collection, made in a silk striped material with leather handles, base and trims. It came in a turquoise colour too. Fabulous bags for the summer, or a Cunard voyage almost anywhere really 🙂
