The A-Z of travelling handbags brings us to the letter V today, so here are my #BagsOnTour photos for V.
V is for Vineyards
Last year on a road trip in France, several wine regions were visited 🙂 This amazing celler (cave) is in Chinon in the Loire valley. The huge door opens into a massive cave, hand carved out of the rocks. It belongs to 3 families who store and showcase their wines here.
A bit of wine tasting was more or less mandatory and very nice it was too.
Further south in the Bordeaux region the vines were heaving with bunches of grapes. I had my trusty Martha shopper on holiday with me as it doubles as a hold-it-all bag and a beach bag too.
V is for Vietnam
A few years ago we took a week long trip to Saigon in Vietnam. It was a wonderful place to visit and I wrote about it here at the time. I find my Shenley slim shoulder bag perfect for travelling when you’re going to be walking a lot as you can wear it across the body and hands free.
V could also be for the Viaduc de Millau but since I wrote about that fairly recently, I won’t add it again here.
And V is for my VIP Club, self explanatory, so if you want to know more, please click here.
Tomorrow on to W, see you then.
So nice that you’ve traveled to so many countries and enough to fill your blog from A-Z. The cheery blue Martha shopper looks good.
Thank you Irene. I’ve been very lucky to have travelled so much but it’s also number one on my list of hobbies too, so I’ve made it happen.
