Towards the end of last year, I got bored of one colour leathers so I asked my tannery to make some 2 tone leathers for me.

The result is a matt black leather with a very bright suede on the reverse side and in order to make this leather into a lovely handbag I designed these unlined large shoppers. The bright suede side can be seen on all the edges of the seams and handles and is picked out by matching bright stitching on the black side of the leather.

The Nicky bag is a great sized bag for use as a small holdall or large business bag. I can fit my laptop inside, along with all it’s cables, my diary and paperwork and there’s even a smaller handbag in there too.

Now the only problem is to decide which colour to have 🙂
