The Eel Catcher’s Daughter

Today, I’m featuring one of our lovely stockists in Ely, Cambridgeshire (UK).

The Eel Catcher’s Daughter is a fabulous gift shop in a lovely old stone building that was originally part of the Ely Cathedral school buildings. It fronts onto the High Street with very pretty windows, hand painted with the company’s distinctive logo.

One of the store’s windows and Helen, the Eel Catcher’s Daughter, herself! I love their jute shopping bags that you can buy for only £5.

Although my bags come with our own label, Helen adds her own with a little message about what she thinks of my design. A fabulous idea! She also likes to display different products together in lovely colour groupings.

Left, my satchels look great teamed with these dotty scarves and right, one side of the shop facing onto the High Street.

Do visit Helen at the Eel Catcher’s Daughter when you’re next in the area and say hi from me!
