Peach Apple Melon Smoothie

Apple Melon Peach smoothie 1I made this one yesterday but it’s so yummy, I’m having it again today.

Saturday Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 a large apple cored and sliced

3 slices of galia melon

1 peach, stoned and sliced

Juice of 1 orange

About 100-150ml coconut water

Ice (if needed)

Method:

Put all ingredients except ice into a blender and whizz until smooth. I didn’t use ice because everything except the apple came out of the fridge so was nice and cold already. Serves 2.

I’ve never used a gala melon. Will try it!

I suppose another type of melon would do but I think the ripe galia one helped with the creaminess as the flesh is soft.

I’m a fan of any smoothie that has peeches in it, will be trying this one as my reward for doing my 30 minute walk later to day

I think I could have put 2 peaches in it actually. So if you’re a fan, try adding another πŸ™‚

Does coconut water keep for long in the fridge? I have just become a coconut water convert after limitless supplies at my VIP venue earlier in the week.

Hi Sherry, it seems to keep for a week. Haven’t tried longer. I use just a little in my smoothies each day and as the carton is 1 litre it does last a while.
