J is for Joey, Jamaica Inn, Johnstons of Elgin and James Bond

Shona Easton Bags On Tour 9The A-Z of handbags – travelling and otherwise, continues today with J.

Jamaica Inn

This is a few years old now. It’s one of my original designs for the Atlanta tote, when I made it in several colours of a lovely rich heavy weave nylon fabric with leather trims and contrast stitch and lining. This brown version had black leather trim and coral pink stitching and lining.

Joey

The Joey bag is quite a new design – a simple flap over leather design with contrast black webbing strap. I wanted a sort of sporty look, hence the black trims with the bright colours.

Johnstons of Elgin

I love the beautiful fine quality tweeds from Johnstons of Elgin. I like to use a variety of their textiles in my designs – mostly for handbags and wallets. Here are some of my current designs in their fabulous fabrics.

Another fabulous #BagsOnTour photo from Nicky Kriel. Nicky was actually taking a photo of her Twitter book with Daniel Craig’s wax works model in Madame Tussauds but as she had her grey Martha shopper with her, I can claim it as a #BagsOnTour photo too 🙂

Awesome! I am so loving your bags. I love how you used James Bond in your title because just about everyone using a computer knows who James bond is and will probably click!
