Father’s Day: Some Ideas

Hi There!

Father’s Day in the UK is on 17th June this year. That means that between now and then you have less shopping days than usual! Don’t forget we have a 4 day weekend in the UK – bringing the delayed Whitsun holiday and the Queen’s Diamond Julbilee together. Fabulous (if you happen to be in the UK – I seem to have missed every single bank holiday in 2012 so far, apart from New Year’s Day!!!)

Here are my ideas for Father’s Day gifts:

Whether you are 6 year old looking for a pressie (get Mummy or Granny’s help to buy online) or a grown up yourself, with an older Dad to buy for, we might have an idea that perhaps you hadn’t thought of 🙂

Pocket Money Presents:

How about an iPhone case? This zip around case (£16) will protect the iPhone screen from scratches. Also fits standard Blackberry and other Qwerty keyboard phones as well as iPods too! There are 7 colours to choose from, including black and brown.

Another super addition to any Dad’s wardrobe would be the mini purse (£6.50), above right. It has many uses and is a perfect size for:

  • A business card holder
  • A case for keeping pc memory cards & USB sticks
  • A case for cufflinks
  • A coin holder

Mid Price Range Gifts:

How about a new credit card holder for your Dad (£12) or splash out on a new wallet (pocket wallet £25, tabbed wallet £30).

If he’s a travelling man, he might like a beautiful soft leather travel wallet (£40). It’s so useful for keeping all the travel documents, credit cards and currency together and it fits into a mans suit breast pocket.

For the travelling trendy man (not necessarily young):

Surprise him with a leather or fabulous canvas and leather Man Bag. The all leather version (left, £110) comes in black and brown and the canvas/leather one (right, £95) comes in khaki and midnight blue/black.

If your Dad is an iPad man, he might like a lovely soft leather cover. The iPad cover comes in 4 colours at £45

Want to Splash out this year?

Get him travelling with a fabulous weekender bag.

This is the Trekker Weekender (£145) in a thick but soft, stonewashed khaki canvas with dark brown leather trim.

The weekender also comes in lovely fashion colours in leather and in all black leather too.

All prices include free P&P in the UK.

PS, Other Ideas (keep thinking of more!)

  • A pencase: Is your Dad a writer? Does he sign (dream about signing) autographs? Is he a lawyer? He needs a Pencase!
  • Bus Pass/Oystercard holder/ID cover in Black, Red, Apple Green & more!
  • Passport cover: Great if he wants the convenience of a travel wallet without the overall size. Available in 4 colours.

Happy Shopping 🙂

PPS: If I’ve forgotton anything you think your Dad needs, let me know. I might design one before Xmas or next Father’s Day. I love ideas. Tell me about it in the comments section below.

Last but not Least:

Other nice places where you can buy my designs and other groovy gifts for your Dad include:

Swings and Pretty Things
