Diary of an Indian Factory Visit: part 3

Hello again 🙂

Last time I wrote about my tannery visit and how exciting it is to find fabulous new leathers to use in my collections. This time I found a really nice new chestnut brown vegetable tanned leather. It’s one of the more expensive leathers but I think it will make fabulous bags so I am working on new designs right now.

New Stock

While working with my factory I also get to see new samples that have been made and of course new stock just out of production. My recent designs in production include new colours of my popular ‘Shenley’ cross body shoulder bag. We have Magenta and Black in stock and new colours include Navy and Emerald.

Travel Bags

The factory have also just finished making the Atlanta Overnight and Weekend bags in Black and in Emerald. As these travel bags are made in the same leathers as the ‘Shenley’ bags – they work perfectly as a travelling set. The Shenley bag holds all your valuables safe as all it’s pockets zip up and you can wear it across the body. The matching holdall is perfect as airline carry on luggage. I use one to carry my laptop and design paperwork every time I travel.

Of course you don’t have to have a matching set!

What do you take on your travels?
