A few photos from a lovely visit to the medieval walled city of Carcassonne in southern France.
I love the turrets with the grey slate roof tiles. The medieval city sits on top of a hill in the middle of the much expanded city and it’s shape really stands out against the sky above.
The narrow streets lead into the walled city with a very knobbly pebble surface in parts (left). You can walk all around the remparts and see views over the new parts of Carcassonne through the arrow slits in the thick stone walls.
The obligatory #BagsOnTour photos of me and my mango shoulder bag 🙂
Don’t forget, I’d love to see your Bags on Tour photos! You can post them on our Facebook page or email them to us.
