My A-Z of travelling handbags continues with some old and new photos from around the globe and some old and new designs too.
C is for Carcassonne
The medieval walled city of Carcassonne, in the South West of France, is a beautiful place to spend some time. With no vehicles allowed, the narrow streets are home to pedestrians, with shops and cafes bursting out onto the cobbles. It’s definitely worth a visit, at least for lunch, if not longer.
C is for Cape
Bags on Tour at Cape Reinga, in the north of the North Island of New Zealand
And at Cape Point in Cape Town, South Africa. Many thanks to Nicky Kriel (sporting her Shenley shoulder bag) for this one, taken on a recent visit to see her Dad.
Corsica in Croatia
Another fabulous #BagsOnTour photo of the black patent ‘Corsica‘ bag. Taken a few years ago with Ruth, of Seba Design in Croatia.
Cool ideas
A pen case can be used instead, as a case for your crochet hooks.
A cosmetic bag could also be a pencil case, or a case for your laptop cables or headphones when travelling.
Cougar Collection
A collection from 10+ years ago which I designed in a lovely black and brown (and a few tan) thick soft leather. Many people still have a Cougar bag. I saw one of these #BagsOnTour in Harrogate just a couple of years ago.
That’s it for C.
Until tomorrow 🙂
LOVE that bag in Carcassonne, fab colour!
One of my favourite bags, Anna. Last year it seemed to be in nearly every #BagsOnTour photo of me!
Loved the pencil cases 🙂
Beautiful images and well travelled bags
Thanks Elaine
The Cougar bags are all nice so hard to pick a favorite! I’m happy to see my home featured here – C for CAPE TOWN our beautiful Mother City where I live.
Thank you for your comments Anthea
