A is for Annie, Alesund, Al Ain and Arromanches

Today is the first of 26 days of A-Z posts so here goes.

Annie is a new purse design that I came up with last year and it was released in the Autumn of 2015.

A is for Annie

Shona Easton Amanda Ruiz and Annie PurseThe Annie purse already has its fans and when I meet one, it’s always great to get a #BagsOnTour photo, so this is me with Amanda Ruiz and her pink Annie purse in London in June.

A is for Alesund

Shona Easton Bags On Tour A is for Alesund NorwayThese #BagsOnTour photos were taken at Ny Alesund in Norway (Ny is for New, so I’m overlooking it and making this an A post).

Left: outside the most northerly post office in the world and right: overlooking Ny Alesund from the ship. Quite a collection of my handbags there – thanks to my parents for setting up and taking these photos for me.

Ny Alesund is far north inside the Arctic Circle on the Norwegian archipelago of Svarlbard. Come back in 18 days to see more photos when I’m on ‘S’.

A is for Al Ain and Abu Dhabi

Shona Easton bags at Al AinThese pics were sent to me by Julie Buck, a Brit I met whilst living in the Middle East. She got the #BagsOnTour bug!

A is for Arromanches

Shona Easton Bags on Tour at ArromanchesThis one was taken around 4 years ago on the D-D landing beach at Arromanches. You can just make out the remnants of the Mulberry harbour in the sea behind me.

If you have any #BagsOnTour photos you’d like to send me, I’d love to see them. And thinking ahead, I’m still looking for one that will fit X!

I’m fascinated by the Mulberry harbour. Still don’t know why they weren’t bombed going over!

Julia, The Allies had total air supremacy so the Germans couldn’t bomb anything at that stage.

Love the bags on tour idea and the alphabet – hoping that during the next 26 days I’ll see my birthday present 🙂

Really enjoyed letter A – looking forward to the rest of the alphabet and wondering how long I’ll be able to resist succumbing to one of those gorgeous magenta offerings!
